Group Chief Executive

Mark Preston joined Grosvenor in London in 1989 from Reading University, where he graduated with a degree in Land Management.  In 1995 he was seconded to Hong Kong as Associate Director and was involved in all aspects of Grosvenor’s early business development in Asia.

He returned to London in 1997 and was appointed Asset Management Director with responsibility for the Britain & Ireland and Continental European co-investment business.

In April 2000 he was appointed to the position of Group Fund Management Director, co-ordinating equity raising and investor relations around the Group. He held this post until he was transferred to San Francisco in April 2002 to become President of Grosvenor Americas, where he had responsibility for US operations including investment, development and asset management. 

In May 2006 Mark returned to London to take on the role of Chief Executive of Grosvenor Britain & Ireland and in July 2008 took over as Group Chief Executive.
