Grosvenor has been active in North America for over 50 years and has well–established relationships in several key property markets. We have had an office in Vancouver since 1953, in San Francisco since 1977, in Washington since 1988 and in Calgary — with one small gap — since 1997.
Our aim in the Americas is to achieve critical mass and a leading position in a few well chosen geographic and sectoral markets. Although there are few economies of scale in the property business, critical mass adds to the knowledge base and helps ensure brand recognition. These in turn facilitate the flow of attractive deals upon which investment
and development activity depends.
Andrew Bibby, Chief Executive, leads our Americas team of 58 people. He has been with Grosvenor for over 25 years.
