With a research-based approach, we have capabilities and experience in all sectors and we remain focussed on those which enable us to take a lead position in markets with strong long term potential. Our property portfolio consists of development, investment and value-add projects.
OFFICE
Supported by strong economic fundamentals, Grosvenor has a strong track record in Australia particularly in A-grade office buildings from both a development and investment perspective. Over the past ten years, we have managed investments and developments of over $1 billion worth of office assets. We have completed a number of refurbishments including the Olderfleet Buildings in Melbourne. Committed to best practice in environmental standards, we continue to build our reputation as a leading developer, in both Central Business Districts and suburban markets.
We currently have significant projects under construction in Brisbane, 400 George Street (42,000 sqm), and a new development site in suburban Sydney (Parramatta), 60 Station Street (22,450 sqm), with construction commencing soon. We completed 25 Smith Street, Parramatta (11,000sqm) in 2007.
We own landmark investment buildings in 20 Hunter Street, Sydney and The Bank of Queensland Centre, Brisbane.
INDUSTRIAL
With vast experience in this sector, we have a number of successful projects and investments under management in Australia. We continue our search for further acquisitions. Australia is a large country with a growing population and this is expected to underpin continued demand for new logistic and distribution centres with good access to transport infrastructure.
RESIDENTIAL
In Australia, over the next five years, our aim is to build up our residential development program in the mid to up-market luxury category of the market aimed primarily at the owner occupier.
We have developed a middle market sub-division in Brisbane. The Grosvenor branding contributed to the success of the sell out of the 101 lot estate.
RETAIL
We have successfully developed and managed shopping centres in Australia – acquiring, redeveloping and divesting the assets with co-investors. From this experience, we continue to monitor the sector in Australia for potential opportunities in the retail market.
