Nancy

Nancy is located in the Lorraine region in north-east France. It is an attractive city with 104,000 inhabitants and a total catchment area of more than 400,000 people. Originally known for mining and manufacturing, the city is now more economically dependent on the tertiary sector, with the retail sector accounting for 13% of current total employment. Overall income per capita stands at 8% above the national average and the area has attracted young households and families; this along with the higher than average working population sustains domestic demand and accounts for a steady level of retail consumption. Grosvenor manages a retail portfolio in the commercial zone of Essey-les-Nancy which comprises five retail units.
