Little substantial retail development has taken place in Cambridge city centre since the mid 70s.
Grand Arcade will rectify this by providing a modern, well planned development capable of meeting consumer expectations.
Grand Arcade will enhance and extend the historic retail thoroughfares of the city. Under two glass roofed arcades, linked by a central atrium square, Grand Arcade will provide not only a vibrant shopping experience, but also showcase local, national and international brands.
It will occupy a prime site in the heart of the city with 52 new retail units, two cafés and restaurants set in an aesthetic and airy environment. John Lewis is the anchor tenant in this new scheme of 280,000 square feet of purpose built department store over five levels. Grand Arcade is being carried out through a partnership between Universities Superannuation Scheme USS and Grosvenor.
