I started my career with Grosvenor Americas in 2013 as a Project Manager in the Calgary office. Prior to joining Grosvenor, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and spent five years working for a General Contractor on both commercial and residential projects. Whilst working in my Project Manager role, I oversaw and managed the construction of Grosvenor’s three residential towers in Calgary: Drake, Smith and Avenue Phase I.
It has been a tremendous experience working for Grosvenor as I have encountered the benefits of working in a small team while having access to the resources and expertise within the larger Grosvenor Americas Development and construction teams. Knowledge sharing within the company is heavily leveraged and gives you exposure to other markets, even if you aren’t specifically working in them.
Grosvenor’s commitment to their people and training is second to none in the industry. Throughout my time as a Project Manager, Grosvenor supported me through various training programs including the completion of my Masters in Business Administration (MBA). This education paired with my construction background assisted the transition into my current Development Manager role. In my new position, I have had the opportunity to commence the development process on two mixed-used projects located in the most vibrant community in Calgary. I continue to be amazed by the tools that Grosvenor supplies in order to maximize performance within your role and allow for future career growth. It is a privilege to work for a company that values employees, quality of work and reputation above all else.
