65 Duke Street

Mixed-use restoration in Mayfair

65 Duke Street comprises 16 one, two and three bedroom apartments and five retail units. Located in Mayfair, to the east of Oxford Street and close to Selfridges department store.

A Retail Revolution

The retail units at 65 Duke Street allowed us to grow the tenant mix and help create a new identity for the area, complementing the offer of nearby Selfridges. New brands attracted to the street included Jigsaw's Duke Street Emporium, Penelope Chilvers, Laura Apsit Livens, E-Tautz and Private White VC.

The apartments are located on the attractive thoroughfare of Duke Street which stretches from the gardens of Grosvenor Square to the shops of Oxford Street. Duke Street offers a mix of restaurants, cafes and local amenities which are complemented by our significant investment to improve the area’s public realm, not least with the creation of Brown Hart Gardens that has a café, garden and pavilion area.

We restored and extended two groups of original buildings, joining them together with a new contemporary link block. The design combines historic features with contemporary interiors and the latest technology. Ceiling roses, fireplaces and ceramic tiles that were once hidden by false ceilings and storage, have been uncovered and restored. Unusually for Mayfair, the majority of apartments have private outdoor terraces or balconies. We recognise the demand for thoughtfully-designed, highly-specified rental properties that support a contemporary lifestyle.
