My Edinburgh

A personal view by Robin Blacklock

"The evolution of Fountainbridge in Edinburgh is really exciting and a genuine privilege to be involved in. The first flat I owned was in the area, and it is fantastic to see the new homes, new streets and new cafes in place of the great big dull and intimidating industrial buildings which once filled the area"

The Grove Community Garden

As development plans for our Fountainbridge site would take time to evolve we recognised the importance of community engagement and building a positive working relationship. Consultation led to the Grove Community Garden. Fostering a sense of community and utilising varied skills the membership group enjoy sharing organically grown food and the social benefits of gardening together.
