Living Hong Kong

Grosvenor in Hong Kong

Grosvenor Asia Pacific established it's first office in Asia in Hong Kong in 1994.  Our regional headquarters is still here in Jardine House in Central, overlooking the famous harbour front from which the city gets its name.

We currently have both residential and office assets in the city, in partnership with local property companies. Flagship projects include The Westminster Terrace in Approach Bay and Grosvenor Place in Repulse Bay.  We are an active member of a number of civic organisations, including the British Chamber of Commerce.

My Hong Kong

A personal view by Yuky Tam

"Hong Kong is incredibly dynamic - everybody moves, chats and eats fast. It is an exciting place in which to live and work."

Grosvenor's city insights

  1. A view to remember

Hong Kong's harbour front is one of the world's more recognisable city skylines. It is arguably best viewed at night, when the city really comes to life.

  2. A night at the races

The racecourse in Happy Valley, with its unique urban surroundings, is a must-see. Though races can be viewed from private boxes, the atmosphere is much more exciting from the ground.

  3. Start your day with something different

Tai Tam, on the south side of Hong Kong island, offers early morning wakeboarding sessions, a refreshing way to start the day.

  4. Slow and steady

Trams, known locally as ding dings, may be slow but are the best way to take in the sights, smells and sounds of Hong Kong when not in a hurry.

  5. Island hopping

Hong Kong is surrounded by smaller outlying islands which offer a good day's hiking and some of the best seafood available.

A design collaboration

The Westminster Terrace in Hong Kong demonstrates how innovative materials and high-specification finishes can complement local traditions and preferences to produce a high-quality space. The consultant team included English architect Paul Davis and interior designers Koichiro Ikebuchi and Tara Bernerd, from Japan and England respectively. Through a co-ordinated design process, we were able to make the most of the site's location with unusually large balconies allowing residents to enjoy the panoramic views available at Castle Peak Road.
