Living San Francisco

Grosvenor in San Francisco

We have been active in the San Francisco market for 40 years, working across the real estate sectors that have defined the region from the high-tech office space of Silicon Valley to the exclusive retail of Union Square. We are currently drawing on our local high street retail experience near Union Square to support the resurgence of urban living through a focus on residential and retail-led mixed-use projects in the city’s most vibrant locations.

Unearthing San Francisco's past

This video documents one of Grosvenor Americas' most exciting stories of 2016 - the discovery of Gold Rush-era ship beneath our development site at 240 Pacific Avenue in San Francisco.

Grosvenor's city insights

  1. By land and sea

San Francisco is a series of diverse and distinct neighbourhoods bound by the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

  2. View from the top

San Francisco is famous for its hills. There are more than 50 hills within the city limits. Some neighborhoods are named after the hill on which they are situated, including Nob Hill, Potrero Hill, and Russian Hill.

  3. Water sports

San Francisco welcomed the world in 2013 as the host city for the world famous sailing regatta, the America’s Cup.

The art of development

A vast exterior mural (23m long x 6m high), created by the emerging San Francisco artist Zio Ziegler, is featured on an interior courtyard wall at 1645 Pacific Avenue, Grosvenor Americas’ first residential mixed-use development in the San Francisco Bay area. ‘Chasing Desire’ portrays San Francisco and its people as they continue to forge achievements in world history. Intriguing glimpses of the mural can be seen from a number of the homes; a full view is experienced from the outdoor patios and balconies.
