Grosvenor Fund Management (GFM) has appointed Charles “Chip” Walters Managing Director and Head of Fund Portfolio Management in the Philadelphia, PA office. He will be responsible for the development and management of a perpetual life investment vehicle focusing on real estate.
Mr. Walters joins GFM from Prudential Real Estate Investors (PREI), where he has worked since 1992, most recently as Principal, Head of the Northeast Acquisition Team. In 2011, his team completed over $280 million in transactions including hotel, office, and retail properties. His career with PREI also has included portfolio management, asset management, development, and leasing.
A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Walters holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University.
