The Festival is presented by Nomad Cinema in association with Chestertons.
Mayfair and Belgravia’s Grosvenor Square, Belgrave Square Garden, Brown Hart Gardens and Wilton Crescent Garden will be transformed into open-air cinemas. Tickets are available via www.grosvenorlondon.com and www.whereisthenomad.com.
Sound is provided by state-of-the-art headsets, with locations offering the ideal backdrop for a summer evening. Gourmet picnics and refreshments will be provided by Benugos, Madame Gautier and Mosimann’s, with frozen cocktails by LiC.
Robert Bartlett, CEO of Chestertons said: “If you enjoyed this Festival last year, you will have noticed that the event has grown substantially and now includes 13 films across 12 weeks and four venues. Once you settle back on your deckchair or on a blanket in the open air on a summer’s evening, you realise that much of the enjoyment of watching films comes from the environment you are in, and environments don’t get much better than this: Perhaps the world’s most desirable estate at the heart of the most exciting city in the world.”
Will Bax, Director of Placemaking at Grosvenor Britain & Ireland said: “The Grosvenor Film Festival returns with a terrific line-up of films shown in some of London’s finest garden squares. Arts, culture and community are all part of the magic of Mayfair and Belgravia and this year’s Festival will once again provide some special summer evenings for local people and visitors. Action!”
