Joanna has extensive experience managing central London retail destinations having previously held positions at Oxford Properties, where she was responsible for their London retail assets including The Royal Exchange, and at The Crown Estate where she was responsible for delivering the retail vision for St James's.

Will Bax, Director for Place-making, Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, said: “Joanna will be responsible for curating some of the world’s most high profile retail streets, including Mayfair’s Mount Street and London's premier design district in Pimlico Road. Our aim is to create and manage truly memorable places that offer special experiences and keep people coming back for more.”

Grosvenor’s Mayfair estate is currently undergoing a major transformation as the success of Mount Street moves northwards through the creation of a new fashion and lifestyle district between Duke Street and North Audley Street.  This sits alongside the recent opening of five-star hotel, The Beaumont, run by restaurateurs Corbin & King and St Mark’s, a Grade I listed landmark building on North Audley Street, where work will shortly commence to create an amazing new 14,500 sq ft retail and restaurant flagship.

In Belgravia, Grosvenor is redeveloping The Pantechnicon on Motcomb Street, an iconic Grade II listed building which is set to become a food and retail emporium.  On Ebury Street, Grosvenor has completed the first listed residential building in the UK to achieve BREEAM “Outstanding” at design stage and on Pimlico Road, Grosvenor is creating two new retail units and six Passivhaus apartments.  At Eccleston Place, Grosvenor plans to create a dynamic new creative hub for entrepreneurs, designers and small businesses.

Joanna joined on 4 July and reports to Will Bax, Director of Place-making for Grosvenor’s London estate.
