Grosvenor Europe (Grosvenor), one of four operating companies of the privately-owned international property group, Grosvenor Group, has appointed Miguel Silmi Macias as Senior Development Manager.
Miguel will be based in Madrid and will drive the development of Grosvenor’s high end residential pipeline in the city, supporting Director, Spain, Fátima Sáez del Cano.
Before joining Grosvenor, Miguel was a freelance architect on prestigious Spanish development collaborations, including the refurbishment of the Wellington Hotel, Gran Vía 5 and Columela 8, in downtown Madrid.
Prior to this, Miguel worked in development, as well as commercial and asset management for Santander / Altamira Asset Management and Levitt Bosch Aymerich. He also holds experience in the high end residential market.
On joining Grosvenor, Miguel comments: “Grosvenor is a prestigious real estate company with a long history. It has continued interest in the Spanish market since the 1990s and now has the opportunity to create a best in class product in some vibrant neighbourhoods in central Madrid. It is a very exciting challenge.”
Director, Spain, Fátima Sáez del Cano, says: “Miguel’s experience will be a great asset to our Madrid-based team, especially now that we are growing our pipeline of development projects. He not only understands the high end residential market here, but has the architectural experience to help us create thoughtful and impressive building designs.”
