Grosvenor Group Limited, the privately-owned international property Group, announces the appointment of Jonathan Lane as Chairman of the Grosvenor Europe board. Further strengthening the business, Olivier Piani has also been appointed as the European Board’s third external Non-Executive Director (NED).
Jonathan Lane joined the Grosvenor Europe Board as the first Non-Executive Director (NED) in July 2016. Jonathan is Chairman of the EMEA Real Estate Investment Banking business of Morgan Stanley and has been with the firm since 1999. Prior to this, he worked with SG Warburg & Co Ltd, UBS and British Petroleum. Jonathan is also on the Board of Secure Income REIT PLC and Resolution Property LLP. His Chairmanship became effective 1 January 2018.
Also effective on the 1 January 2018 was the appointment of Olivier Piani as Non-Executive Director. Olivier also sits on the board of Prologis and holds Senior Consultant positions with a major European Private Equity Group and with a US-based Value-Added Real Estate Fund Manager. Previous to this, Olivier was the CEO of Allianz Real Estate, the real estate investment platform for the Allianz Group, which he regrouped and restructured successfully to serve the Allianz Group of insurances.
