The promotion sees Tor take on the management of the leasing, heritage and planning, sustainability and marketing teams which support the company’s London estate which encompasses Mayfair and Belgravia.
The focus of the role is to ensure the business is best positioned to deliver its 20 year vision for the London estate. The vision recognises that the estate must respond to the pressures and opportunities brought by London’s growth. At its core, the team will work to ensure the estate continues to make a significant economic, social and cultural contribution to the capital, focussing on long term success over short term gains.
Tor joined Grosvenor Britain & Ireland in 2010 as a Graduate and most recently led the asset management programme for its Mayfair estate including direct management of the Mount Street retail district. Tor sits on the WPA’s Senior Advisory Committee and on the West End Partnership’s Good Growth sub-committee.
Tor will report to Amelia Staveley, who was recently appointed as the Director of Development and Placemaking for the London estate.
Amelia Staveley, Director of Development and Placemaking, Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, said: “At Grosvenor we pride ourselves on creating, managing and adapting exceptional places. This could not be done without a significant emphasis on protecting, emphasising and evolving the character, heritage and personality of our estate.
“Tor’s experience across various roles in the estate team means she brings insight into both our values as a company and ambitions for the estate and I look forward to working with her in delivering our vision for Mayfair and Belgravia.”
