Grosvenor has been active in North America for nearly 60 years, having had an office in Vancouver since 1953, in San Francisco since 1977, in Washington since 1988 and in Calgary - with one small gap - since 1997.
Our strategy is to focus on cities which have a youthful, growing and educated workforce; a well-paid service sector; a dynamic local economy and good transportation links.
Grosvenor Americas has a track record in five sectors - retail, residential, industrial, office and hotel. However, we continue to fiocus on narrower specialist capabilities, especially upper-end urban retail locations and open-strip shopping malls catering to basic needs in up-market residential areas. Our portfolio also has different emphases location by location - so, for instance, we see cyclical opportunities in Washington, DC in the supply-constrained office sector.
Andrew Bibby, Chief Executive, leads our Americas team of 65 people. He has been with Grosvenor for 27 years.
