Grosvenor Europe expands scholarship programme for real estate graduates in Madrid

Grosvenor Europe (Grosvenor) has expanded its scholarship programme for the Master's Degree in Real Estate and Construction Companies’ Business Management (MDI) from the Technical University of Madrid. The scholarships offer access to world class training to a wider pool of tomorrow's real estate leaders.

Grosvenor has again joined forces with the MDI to expand the programme, offering one full and two additional half scholarships for real estate graduates with high potential. The full scholarship, which will cover all tuition fees to study the MDI in the 2021-2022 academic year, will be offered to the best performing applicant, while the two half scholarships will be offered to the runner up candidates.  To be eligible, applicants must have finished their undergraduate studies in 2020-2021 and have been beneficiaries of a Spanish Ministry of Education scholarship.

Grosvenor Europe, part of the private international property company, Grosvenor Group, has more than 340 years of history and has been active in Spain since 1996. The scholarships are a commitment to supporting the growth of young, talented professionals with a passion for real estate. It ensures they can access a high quality, international, RICS-accredited education, despite their financial situation.

Last year, one full and one half scholarship were awarded to two architectural candidates. They commented: “MDI has widened our vision of the process of city construction and regeneration. Now we share a common language and methodology with all other stakeholders including investors, designers or regulators, regardless of the place in the world each of us is operating in, or where we are actually intervening. Also, it has allowed us to understand the wide range of professional pathways in which we, as architects, can make a difference.”

Requirements for the scholarships can be found at www.mastermdi.com. All applications will be reviewed in an anonymous process, focusing on the potential and motivation shown by candidates in a letter to the selection committee, their resumé and academic record.  The selection committee will be composed of Grosvenor’s Executive Director in Spain, Fátima Sáez del Cano; Director, HR, Jane Goode, and Finance Director France and Spain, Cecile Imbault, along with Dr. Ramón Gámez, MDI Director.

The deadline for all applications is 30 June 2021.
