Guided by our global ambition to reduce our carbon emissions in line with limiting global warming to 1.5°C, our property business in North America was one of the first signatories on the continent to the World Green Building Council's Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment.
We report to the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) and in 2023, we maintained a strong Four Star rating for our Development activity and increased scores for our Investment activity. Top marks were achieved in the Leadership, Reporting, Policies, Stakeholder Engagement, ESG Requirements, Materials, Waste, Water Consumption, Targets and Data Monitoring & Review.
