This full-block, mixed-use waterfront development designed by James Cheng creates a landmark entrance into Ambleside Village. Ambleside Village has been the centre of life in West Vancouver for the last century and is known for its outstanding natural views and West Coast culture, drawing visitors and residents of all ages from around Vancouver to its beloved oceanside seawall and retail village.
Grosvenor Ambleside embraces West Coast modernism with two mid-rise terraced buildings housing a collection of 98 residences that sit above 32,500 square feet of boutique retail and 5,500 square feet of office. A 7,000 square foot covered galleria, open at both ends, provides an expansive public plaza with a vibrant and engaging streetscape filled with music, art, people and life. The galleria creates a mid-block connection from Marine Drive to the waterfront and provides open views and access to the beach. The revitalized public realm includes art designed by revered West Vancouver artist Douglas Coupland.
