Running between Eaton Square and Buckingham Palace Road, Elizabeth Street is a leisurely paced shopping experience with each of its richly characterful retailers attracting a particular clientele.
Hat-lovers will love Philip Treacy’s outlandish couture creations, while wine aficionados can browse in Jeroboams’ wide-ranging cellar. Baker & Spice, The Chestnut Bakery, Poilâne and Oliveto place it firmly on any food lover’s map.
Constructed in the mid-19th century, Elizabeth Street contains many fine buildings. However, like many London streets, its pavements were cluttered and interrupted with uncoordinated street furniture. In 2010 we completed extensive improvement works with our partner Westminster City Council, reconstructing the street and pavement, introducing better access for pedestrians and replacing street ‘clutter’ with high quality street furniture, lighting and public art.
