A collection of thirty-three homes and a retail offering in the heart of historic Jackson Square

In the historic Jackson Square neighbourhood in downtown San Francisco, our collection of homes at 288 Pacific offers generous ceiling heights, a beautifully-appointed salon lobby and rooftop terraces, with two retail spaces adding to the streetscape.

We worked with Handel Architects to design a building that aligns with the surrounding design aesthetic, the Gold Rush-era buildings, the nearby waterfront and the neighbourhood’s recent urban renaissance.

After an archaeological excavation, the ‘Arkansas’ – a legendary ship from the Gold Rush era – was discovered on our development site. The City and the San Francisco Maritime Historic Park asked that its location be mapped and that the ship be left in situ, untouched by construction, a request that we honoured.
