Recognised for best practice in conservation, habitat and wildlife management

We retained our accreditation from Wildlife Estates Scotland (WES) on the Reay Forest Estate for our commitment and success in enhancing the environment through conservation, habitat and wildlife management

Our commitment to and success in enhancing the environment through conservation, habitat and wildlife management on the Reay Forest Estate in the Highlands of Scotland was recognised by reaccreditation with a Europe-wide award.  

We retained our accreditation from Wildlife Estates Scotland (WES) on the Reay Forest Estate following a rigorous assessment by independent experts in 2019. 

The award, which is supported by the Scottish Government and NatureScot and that is managed by Scottish Land & Estates, was established in 2005 and is active in 19 European countries facilitating collaboration between the public and private sectors, particularly around biodiversity and conservation, and sharing best practice.
