Grosvenor Square Hosts Coronation Garden Party

Collaborations between property owners and brands create spectacular settings for communities and friends to come together and support business success.

Grosvenor and Mayfair’s hospitality and retail businesses are partnering to mark the Coronation of King Charles III, hosting a spectacular free to attend garden party in Grosvenor Square, Mayfair.

The setting will provide an unforgettable location to watch the Coronation ceremony and Windsor concert, with the square hosting cinema sized screens and seating across both the Saturday and Sunday of the Coronation weekend. 

Altogether, over 20 retail and hospitality business will celebrate the coronation with visitors and Grosvenor, benefiting from the increase in visitors this brings across the bank holiday break. 

Surrounded by interactive floral installations from Moyses Stevens, visitors will enjoy food and beverages from local businesses, in the square itself including:

  • The Barley Mow offering a Coronation Chicken Burger based on the ingredients from the famous dish created for Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation. 
  • Following with a sweet treat, The Connaught Pâtisserie will have its very own ice cream cart serving delicious scoops. 
  • Apricity’s   award winning chef Chantelle Nicholson has partnered with Roebuck Estates to serve vintage English sparkling wine paired with seasonal snacks
  • Guests can also visit a Grey Goose truck hosted by Mr. Foggs and grab a drink at The Twenty Two Bar.

Grosvenor has a strong track record in creating stunning activations, including the 2021 Jubilee Street Party, which brought 27,000 visitors to North Audley Street in Mayfair over two days and drove a 65% increase in weekly turnover for participating businesses. 

Similarly Belgravia in Bloom, an annual floral festival in the historic neighbourhood, increased turnover by 14% week on week for the 50+ participating brands.

All plants and florals featured at the Mayfair Coronation Garden Party will be donated to organisations such as Groundworks, Grosvenor’s charity partner, local schools and community groups.
