A 7.9-acre, full block, transit-oriented site in the heart of Brentwood.

We made our largest commitment to the North American housing market to date with the acquisition of this site in Burnaby, BC.

The site is located in close proximity to the Brentwood Town Centre Skytrain station and is bound by Lougheed Highway to the north, Beta Avenue to the east, Dawson Street to the south and Alpha Avenue to the west.

Brentwood is a rapidly growing community and this site is expected to be one of the final areas to be developed in the city’s emerging town centre to meet the needs of the growing population of Burnaby.

Our plans for the site include a carefully curated mix of uses including market condominiums, market rental, non-market rental, and commercial in the form of retail space. The scale and size of the development will enable us to bring our well-established expertise in place-making in urban areas to the Brentwood community, as well as delivering on our objective to have a meaningful, positive social impact on the communities where we develop.

We will also be contributing to the Mayor of Burnaby’s push for increasing affordable housing options by incorporating a large focus on rental housing.

  • Free community events support the local economy, provide a safe place for people to reconnect, activate the development site and allow us to gather feedback from local residents as we develop our plans for the site.
  • Commissioned local artist, Drew Young, to paint a 4,000 sq. ft. mural on site to make public art more accessible to the broader community.
