The RISE is a mixed-use retail/residential development in Vancouver with 92 live/work rental homes surrounding a shared garden with views of the North Shore Mountains. Residents enjoy beautiful finishes, floor-to-ceiling windows and creative live/work spaces.

Located along the Cambie Corridor next to the rapid transit in South East False Creek, our 28,000 sq m full city-block development catalysed the growth of an uptown retail district and is moments from the downtown core.

The green roof, which is the second largest in Vancouver, serves as a community gathering space for residents. Other key features include natural ventilation, use of non-toxic and low volatile organic compounds (VOC) materials, and four electric car charging stations, one of which is reserved for a car-sharing scheme. Art installations cover vents, murals enliven the underground car park, and a 15-year suite lease for a ‘City Artist in Residence’ - a subsidised housing programme that supports local emerging artists - is in place.

The RISE was one of only five projects chosen to receive the Urban Land Institute's Global Award for Excellence in 2009. It also received four other prestigious real estate awards that year, including one for sustainable design.

An extensive refurbishment programme commenced on July 1, 2019 to upgrade the residential homes, building amenities (resident lounge, fitness facility, hobby room and outdoor patio areas), lobbies and outdoor patio area.  As units are being upgraded upon natural turnover, the renovation programme has an extended timeline that is estimated to be approximately five years.
