People Positive Engagement Charter

We have updated our Engagement Charter and published an open-source toolkit, reaffirming our commitment to building trust and delivering lasting social impact through genuine collaboration with communities.

Recent research shows public trust in developers has risen from 2% to 16% since 2019, reflecting a growing industry commitment to openness and collaboration.

We’re proud to have been part of a movement that has seen trust and engagement standards rise across the industry. Alongside this, our own approach has continued to evolve and improve, which is why we’ve taken a fresh look to better articulate how we are going further.

Our Charter is built on four key principles: listening first, active participation, making it easier, and being accountable. These values are embedded across our daily work, ensuring engagement is at the heart of how we identify local needs and deliver positive outcomes.

Our approach includes tracking wellbeing data, recruiting youth researchers, and convening lived experience panels to ensure our places are inclusive and accessible.
