Diana Noble

Diana Noble was appointed as an Independent Adviser to Grosvenor’s Group Investment Committee in September 2026. 

She is Deputy Chair of the Court of the Bank of England and Chair of its Remuneration Committee. She also serves on the boards of the Wellcome Trust and Brookfield Asset Management. 

From 2011 to 2017, Diana Noble was Chief Executive of CDC, now British International Investment, the UK’s development finance institution. Her background spans private equity, venture capital and international development. She spent 12 years as a partner at Schroder Ventures, now Permira, and founded e-Ventures and Reed Elsevier Ventures. 

Before joining CDC, Diana Noble spent five years at the Clinton Foundation’s Health Access Initiative, where, as Executive Vice President, Operations, she was responsible for operations across 43 countries and five global teams. 

Diana Noble holds a first-class degree in Law and was appointed CBE in June 2017.
