Jonathan Rae

Jonathan Rae is Chief Financial Officer at Grosvenor Property UK. He has over 20 years’ experience in finance leadership roles across the UK property sector, spanning residential, retail, office and logistics, with a track record in funding strategy, investor partnerships, governance and operational delivery. 

Jonathan joined Grosvenor in May 2026 from build-to-rent developer and operator PLATFORM_, where he served as Finance Director and helped scale the business and secure funding across a £1.3bn gross development value portfolio of over 4,000 homes. Previously, he spent 11 years at British Land, including as Head of Retail Finance and Head of Investor Relations. He began his career at PwC, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, and currently sits on the Audit and Risk Committee and Finance Committee of Real Estate:UK and the Audit and Risk Committee of Soho Housing.
