Eight organisations awarded grants through the expanded People Positive Community Fund, backed by Grosvenor and a growing coalition of local businesses, suppliers and residents.
Grosvenor today announces the successful recipients of its People Positive Community Fund, with over £200,000 awarded across eight organisations working to provide support to priority wellbeing needs in Westminster. Part of Grosvenor's People Positive social impact strategy, the fund helps respond to community needs, strengthen local participation and create more inclusive places.
The funding will support a diverse range of initiatives addressing some of the most pressing local needs, including sense of safety, access to green space and community connectedness. Together, the programmes are expected to benefit thousands of residents, workers and visitors across the borough over the coming year.
The Fund's flagship grant has been awarded to a partnership between The Passage and St Mungo's, supporting a dedicated homelessness outreach and rapid-response programme across Mayfair and Belgravia. The initiative will strengthen frontline support for people experiencing homelessness while helping businesses, residents and local organisations respond more effectively to the complex needs within the neighbourhood.
Other grant recipients include the Neighbourhood Watch Network, Woman’s Trust, Create Arts, the Mayfair Community Choir and more.
The People Positive Community Fund was launched earlier this year and is delivered in partnership with The London Community Foundation. It builds on more than a decade of collaboration between the two organisations to support grassroots groups across Westminster against three priority themes for local wellbeing: fostering a sense of safety, strengthening community connection and improving access to and engagement with green space. Every three-years Grosvenor commissions the People Positive Wellbeing Index to track how the needs of Mayfair and Belgravia change and to ensure its programmes, including the People Positive Community Fund, focus on the most pressing local issues.
The latest funding round represents an important evolution of the programme, bringing together contributions from businesses, suppliers, customers and residents alongside Grosvenor's own investment. These include Skanska, Ethos, Knight Protection, New West End Company, CBRE, Atis, North Audley Canteen and a Belgravia resident. By opening the Fund to a wider network of partners, Grosvenor aims to create a long-term platform for collective local action, enabling those with a shared stake in Mayfair and Belgravia's future to contribute directly to the wellbeing of the communities that make these neighbourhoods thrive.
Every pound contributed by partners is matched by Grosvenor up to £100,000, doubling the funding available to local organisations and creating a shared model for investment in community wellbeing.
The People Positive Community Fund follows the success of the Greener Futures Fund, which ran from 2021 to 2025 and enabled community-led climate action across Westminster. Close to £1 million has been awarded to local causes and projects in the borough to date.
Kate Nottidge, Director of Social Impact at Grosvenor, commented:
“At Grosvenor, we believe places thrive when people feel safe, connected and included. Long-term stewardship is about understanding local needs, listening to community voices and investing in opportunities that help neighbourhoods flourish.
“The People Positive Community Fund helps us put that commitment into practice. We are proud to support eight outstanding organisations making a real difference across Westminster, and grateful to the businesses, suppliers and residents who have contributed alongside us. Together, we're helping to create stronger, more inclusive communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive."
Paul Buchanan MBE, CEO, The London Community Foundation

The People Positive Community Fund encourages businesses and residents to collaboratively invest in grassroots organisations in this community, providing the resources and opportunities for local people to create positive change. The fund is a leading example for how place-based philanthropy can be done well. It is rooted in genuine local insight, delivered through trusted organisations, and designed for lasting impact.”
