Grosvenor has appointed Mie Caroline Holstad and Guillaume Cassou as Non‑Executive Directors of Grosvenor Diversified Property Investments (GDPI) with effect from September. Taking place at the same time as the planned departure of Non-Executive Director Olivier Piani, the appointments bring deep experience in global real estate investment, capital markets and sustainability.
Mie Caroline Holstad’s joining contributes extensive expertise in global real estate assets, sustainability and long‑term institutional investment. She is currently a Senior Advisor at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), the world’s largest dedicated greenfield renewable energy fund manager.
Previously, Mie was Chief Investment Officer for Real Assets at Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), where she was responsible for approximately NOK 720 billion invested across unlisted and listed real estate and renewable energy infrastructure. She was a member of NBIM’s leadership group and oversaw global investment, portfolio management, governance, legal and tax functions, leading international teams across Europe, North America and Asia. Mie currently holds several board and advisory roles across real estate, sustainability and public‑interest organisations.
Guillaume Cassou has more than 25 years’ experience across European real estate investment, fund management and portfolio oversight. He spent over a decade at KKR, most recently as Partner and Head of European Real Estate, where he founded and led the firm’s European real estate platform across equity and debt. Since 2026, he has served as Senior Advisor to KKR’s European Real Estate business, based in London.
During his tenure at KKR, Guillaume led investments representing more than $10bn of gross asset value across logistics, residential, hospitality, retail, office and digital infrastructure, and played a central role in fundraising, strategy, portfolio management and governance. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Goldman Sachs within both investment banking and principal investing.
James Raynor, CEO of Grosvenor Property, commented:
“I am delighted to welcome Mie and Guillaume to the board of Grosvenor Diversified Property Investments. Their combined experience across global real estate, capital markets, infrastructure and sustainability will add significant strength and breadth to the board as we continue to pursue an international diversification strategy and grow the business with an ambition for this to account for more than a quarter of Grosvenor’s balance sheet.
“I would also like to thank Olivier Piani for his valuable contribution during his time on this board and previously on that of our European business. He has been a wonderful adviser and his insight and perspective over the years have been greatly appreciated.”
