Grosvenor today unveils The Launch Pad, a new initiative providing six months of free premium workspace and tailored support to help early-stage businesses grow and succeed in central London.
Delivered in partnership with The Rebel School, participants will also receive mentoring from experienced leaders, hands-on workshops, and one-to-one guidance through The Rebel School’s expert-led peer network, opening up opportunities for founders who might not otherwise have access to prime central London workspace and networks.
An initial cohort of around 60 London-based entrepreneurs will take part in a shortlisting phase, before 10–15 will be selected to progress to the full six-month programme, benefitting from rent-free workspace at 25 Eccleston Place, Grosvenor’s flagship flexible office and a hub for independent and creative businesses.
Reflecting Grosvenor’s commitment to socially positive business growth, as part of its People.Planet.Positive approach, the initiative has a particular focus on encouraging applications from Westminster-based entrepreneurs.
Piers Townley, Director of Offices & Flexible Workspace at Grosvenor, commented: “Access to prime workspace and professional networks is too often a barrier for growing businesses. The aim of the Launch Pad is to help break down those barriers, providing all-important support for those early-stage entrepreneurs who are so important to the success of London and the wider economy.
“25 Eccleston Place is already home to a thriving community of innovative entrepreneurs and successful founders, including the investors behind well-known brands such as GAIL’s, Wasabi and Franco Manca. Situated within Eccleston Yards, a wellbeing and enterprise hub of independent retailers, restaurants, and creative talent just a stone’s throw from Victoria, it’s the ideal place to help the next generation of businesses flourish.”
“Rebel has already helped thousands of people turn ideas into thriving businesses,” said Henry Nicholson, CEO of The Rebel School.
“Partnering with Grosvenor allows us to offer founders not just support, but the kind of environment that can genuinely transform how their business grows.”
Grosvenor’s flexible office portfolio includes ten dedicated sites alongside 12 fitted and managed offices across Mayfair, Belgravia and key regional cities. The Launchpad initiative follows the success of Fivefields, a co-purpose workspace in Victoria developed with the Westminster Foundation to help charities supporting children and young people grow and collaborate. Together, they form part of Grosvenor’s wider ambition to leverage its properties and networks to help start-ups and socially positive organisations succeed and contribute to the communities they are a part of, in addition to Grosvenor’s ongoing drive to invest in innovative tech businesses that support its commercial and environmental goals.
