AgriWebb Pty Ltd ("AgriWebb"), the global livestock management and supply chain data platform and a Grosvenor Food & AgTech (GFA) portfolio company since 2018, has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by URUS Group LP ("URUS").
URUS is a global leader in bovine genetics, reproductive technologies and data‑driven herd management solutions.
The acquisition will expand URUS’s digital and data capabilities across global beef production and supply chains, extending the integrated data and management approach it has established in the dairy sector into beef. By connecting genetics, reproduction technologies, animal health solutions and precision management platforms through digital tools and insights, the combined capabilities are expected to simplify decision‑making for producers and support productivity, sustainability and animal health and welfare across dairy and beef operations.
Katrin Burt, Managing Partner at Grosvenor Food & AgTech, said: “Grosvenor Food & AgTech has invested in and partnered with AgriWebb since 2018, and this strong AgTech exit to a key strategic buyer validates both the business model and the strength of AgriWebb’s market position. We are delighted by this successful outcome, which is a testament to the vision and quality of the founders and the wider management team. We believe the combination with URUS will create new synergies across data, genetics and on‑farm performance, accelerating product development and supporting the next phase of growth.
Following completion, AgriWebb will join the URUS portfolio of businesses and will continue to operate under its existing brand and management team, subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions, as outlined by URUS.
