Monty Bayer and Katrin Burt to jointly lead Grosvenor Food & Agtech

Grosvenor, the international organisation whose activities span food and agtech, property, rural estate management and support for philanthropic initiatives, has named managing partners Monty Bayer and Katrin Burt to jointly lead its Grosvenor Food & Agetch business.

The decision streamlines the previous management structure of four managing partners, enhancing the business's ability to operate with added agility and efficiency, while maintaining deep agtech and foodtech experience and expertise at a senior leadership level in North America and the UK, aligning with the geographic footprint of our present portfolio.

Mark Preston, Grosvenor Executive Trustee, commented:

"We are very excited about the innovation and prospects of our portfolio companies in helping to tackle systemic challenges within the food and agtech sector and their ability to enhance human health and nutrition and the natural environment, while enabling the economic sustainability of farming and food production. Katrin and Monty have the ideal complementary experience and expertise in foodtech and agtech that can help us make the most of these opportunities, enabling us to continue to diversify our activities and deliver long-term success.

"As they leave Grosvenor, I am extremely grateful to Anthony James and Stephan Dolezalek for their outstanding contribution over recent years as managing partners, and we wish them well for the future."
