Grosvenor Property UK (GPUK) has announced a series of senior leadership appointments as it strengthens its leadership team to support the next stage of growth across the London Estate and its investment business.
Amelia Bright will take on an expanded role leading GPUK’s development activity alongside the London Estate. Piers Townley has been appointed Executive Director, Portfolio, with responsibility for the London Estate’s office, retail and residential teams, and Steph Ball has been appointed Executive Director, Investment, with responsibility for the Private Credit business and Regional Office Portfolio.
The appointments follow the recent arrival of Jonathan Rae as Chief Financial Officer and will take effect from 1 June.
Jamie Whitty-Lewis, Chief Executive of Grosvenor Property UK, said:
“These appointments reflect the strength and depth of talent within our business. They come as we prepare to reopen Grosvenor Square as a biodiverse urban garden this July and complete South Molton, the West End’s largest mixed-use development, next year. They are very well-deserved promotions, and I am delighted that Piers and Steph will be joining the Executive Committee.
“Looking ahead, Amelia, Piers and Steph will help deliver our strategy across the London Estate and our investment business playing an important role in driving our next phase of growth. They will progress major projects in Mayfair and Belgravia, strengthen active asset management, continue to invest in the long-term resilience, sustainability and inclusivity of the estate, and expand our private credit business to support housing supply, decarbonisation and a broader range of commercial and living-sector opportunities.”
As part of the changes, GPUK is bringing its Development and London Estate teams closer together to strengthen coordination between development and asset management and support long-term value creation across Mayfair and Belgravia.
Amelia Bright, currently Executive Director for the London Estate, will take on responsibility for development activity while continuing to lead the London Estate, expanding her existing role.
To support this change, Piers Townley has been appointed to the newly created role of Executive Director, Portfolio, with responsibility for the London Estate’s office, retail and residential teams. Over the past 13 years, he has held several senior positions across the London Estate, including Mayfair Director. Most recently, he has led the London Estate office portfolio, overseeing the growth of its flex and managed office offer, which now accounts for around 23% of the office portfolio. He will join the Executive Committee.
Steph Ball has been appointed Executive Director, Investment, with responsibility for GPUK’s Private Credit business and Regional Office Portfolio. Through its residential debt strategy, GPUK has supported the delivery of more than 4,100 homes, while its regional office portfolio spans Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Bristol. Steph has worked at Grosvenor for 15 years across finance and tax roles and has led the Private Credit business since 2024. She will also join the Executive Committee.
GPUK also thanked Rachel Dickie, Executive Director for Investment & Development, for her contribution over the past five years. Rachel recently left the business to spend time with her family before pursuing new professional opportunities. During her time at Grosvenor, she helped build the Private Credit business, supported the strategic sale of its stake in Liverpool ONE, and oversaw significant progress on major development projects including South Molton and Grosvenor Square.
